THOM & COLEY @ 8:30PM In 2019 Thom Shepherd and Coley McCabe Shepherd are nominated in 14 categories between the Trop Rock Music Association (TRMA) Awards and the People’s Choice Awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Duo of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Female Vocalist, Album of the Year, and Song and Single of the Year. The Lone Star Luau, their fourth annual Marble Falls, Texas-based music festival is nominated for Event of the Year at both Awards shows, and Thom will be taking on hosting duties at this year’s TRMA Awards. They were both working for Nashville publishing companies in the same building when they met. Today they are a full-time traveling duo, singing songs that make people laugh and cry, everywhere from Key West to Seattle and abroad. Their latest duet project is called “SHOTGUN” and is available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, and Google Play Thom is the reigning TRMA Songwriter of the Year. Originally from St. Louis, MO, he is the writer of two number one country hits, “Riding with Private Malone” and “Redneck Yacht Club,” three Texas Music number ones, has had over 100 songs recorded by other artists, two songs on Grammy nominated albums, and multiple top ten hits nationwide and in Texas. He is a former CMA of Texas Songwriter of the Year and appears in “The Parrot Heads Documentary” with Jimmy Buffett and the new independent film “Chasing The Sun.”   His song “Always Saturday Night” is played constantly on Radio Margaritaville. Coley’s song “Grow Young With You” was featured in the Natalie Portman / Ashley Judd film, “Where The Heart Is,” and she co-wrote the top 5 Platinum-selling SheDaisy hit “Lucky 4 U.” She hails from West Virginia and has had songs recorded by artists ranging from Bill Anderson to Loretta Lynn. She also starred in the film “Alabama Love Story.” MIKE NASH & SOUTHERN DRAWL BAND @ 9:45PM Mike Nash and Southern Drawl Band from Knoxville and Nashville Tennessee is "Southern Rockin' Country music with a twist of lime distilled in the backwoods of Tennessee." Mike Nash and Southern Drawl Band have been touring the U.S. from coast to coast since their humble beginnings in 2012."Tirelessly building our grass roots fan base from the ground up is the key to our success" says Mike Nash, front man and guitarist for the band. "We have been honored to have won several awards for Band of the Year as well as Entertainer of the Year because of the support of our incredible fans who will regularly drive hundreds of miles for our shows and who have spread our message like wild fire". During their rise, Mike Nash and Southern Drawl Band have had the honor of gracing the stages of many major artists. From legends such as Lynyrd Skynrd, Charlie Daniels Band and Jimmy Buffett to classic country artists like Aaron Tippin, Neil McMcoy, and Pure Prarie League right up to modern day stars such as Brantley Gilbert, Blackberry Smoke, Eli Young Band and Justin Moore. One of the group's most exciting achievements came in 2012 when the University of Tennessee debuted the video for the band's rocked up, barn burning version of "Rockytop" on the jumbo-tron at Neyland Stadium to a sold out crowd of over 102,000. The song went on to smash radio charts and is one of the most popular versions in America being played on NBC's Sunday Night Football for millions of viewers in celebration of Peyton Manning's record breaking touchdown pass in October of 2014. Working with Grammy nominated and Dove Award winning producer Travis Wyrick on their first three studio albums and proven hit writer's such as Thom Shepherd ("Redneck Yacht Club"-Craig Morgan, "Riding with Private Malone"-David Ball) Aaron Scherz ("The Rock"-Tracy Lawrence, "Girl in a Country Song"-Maddie & Tae) and Chris Robbins ("Ride"-Martina McBride) as well as musicians like Andy Wood (Rascal Flatts), Rob Hajacos (Garth Brooks), Thomas Jenkins (Sammy Kershaw) and Doyle Grisham (Jimmy Buffett), the band has won several awards for Album of the Year and Song of the Year as well as several nominations for a variety of awards including placing #50 on Country's Top 100 of the Year. Their music has been used in television programs on stations such as GAC (Great American Country) and CMT (Country Music Television) and the band is also one of the featured performers in the 2016 Mailboat Records release of "Parrotheads the Movie" as well as the soundtrack.
