Michael Ray

Country singer-songwriter Michael Ray was a hit right out of the box, scoring both with critics and on the charts. With Country Aircheck boasting there are “big things on the horizon for Michael Ray’ and his live shows lauded by USA today as simply “lip-smacking good,” the Florida native backed up that praise with two number ones from his 2015 self-titled debut album with “Kiss You in the Morning” and “Think a Little Less.” His sophomore album, Amos, named after his grandfather and produced by the legendary Scott Hendricks, was released on June 1, 2018. The album has already spawned the hit single “Get To You,” now climbing the Billboard charts and praised by Rolling Stone for its “impassioned chorus and impressive vocal range.” Inspired by his rescue dog Wrigley, Ray also recently launched the charitable initiative Wrigley Cares: Helping Animals in Need to collect donations for local animal shelters at every stop on his Get To You Tour.

After that record’s success, Watson has collaborated with many musicians such as Dale Watson, Jack Ingram and Willie Nelson. In February 2015, Watson made history when he released The Underdog and became the first solo artist to debut at number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums. His single, “That Look,” was placed in the top 10 of the Billboard Country Digital Songs Chart and was one of the most successful/selling independent singles by the end of the year.

Drake White

To listen to Drake White’s music is to fully experience the soul and rhythm of his upbringing in the Appalachian foothills of Northeastern Alabama. The undeniable sound of his soulful voice has whipped concert audiences across the country into a frenzy as Drake and his band, The Big Fire, raise the roof and summon spirits to life onstage. It’s equal parts Baptist tent revival and amped-up southern rock festival. As you watch Drake crank the energy level up higher and higher throughout the night, you feel as if you’d walked in on a live gospel album backed up by all-stars from The Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Of course those acts hit musical pay dirt recording in Muscle Shoals, Alabama in the late ‘60s and ‘70s, a little over two hours west of Drake’s tiny hometown of Hokes Bluff. The same fire that drives Drake to pour his entire being in to those performances also demands that he continue exploring and refining that country soul sound. It’s all captured in the line, “Trying to stay lost in the moment while we know it’s flying past/We’re just getting started/It’s gonna be a long, long run.” “I do this because it makes me happy,” Drake explains. “I have a great life. I have a great band, and we’re going to be doing this the rest of our lives. I feel it.”
